Anthony (Tony) Balsamo leads the firm’s litigation practice.  He joined Pinder Plotkin in October 2021 as a senior litigation associate and was named partner in 2023.

Tony has a diverse legal background and practices in the areas of personal injury, litigation, auto accidents, premises liability, dog bites and workers’ compensation claims. As a former Commissioner, District Curt of Maryland, Tony has a great demeanor to walk clients through challenging personal injury cases. During law school, Tony worked with both the Honorable Judge Angela Eaves and Judge Stephen Waldron, Harford County Circuit Court, as well as with the Maryland State Ethics Commission. Prior to law school, Tony worked in the Construction field as a Laborer and in the Information Technology (IT) field as a Network Administrator. 

Tony is an active member of several civic organizations and a former competitive paintball player in the National X-Ball League and current coach for Baltimore Revo divisional teams.
