Three-vehicle crash happened in Prince George’s County on Saturday; one person was killed.
Maryland State Police are investigating the reasons behind the multiple-car collision.
The police got a call shortly before noon about a three-vehicle crash on southbound Route 4 at Dowerhouse Road in Prince George’s County.
The initial investigation showed that the driver of a silver Mercedes, twenty-three-year-old Deonte Javar Sharps from Lothian, Maryland lost control of his vehicle, hit two other vehicles, and overturned afterward.
The collision was too strong and ejected Sharps from his car. He was transported to the University of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital Center, where he later died.
All southbound lanes of Route 4 were closed after the crash.
The police are still investigating the accident.
