  2. You will then receive two e-mails: one contains a detailed intake form and the second includes an engagement agreement for our representation (FREE to show our appreciation).
  3. After the intake form has been completed, a member of the Pinder Plotkin Legal Team will contact you to review the information provided and outline your Will.  A copy of identification confirming that you are an active First Responder will be required. This can be uploaded with the intake form.
  4. We will e-mail a copy of your draft Will for your review and schedule a telephone call to discuss any questions, concerns or edits you may have.
  5. We will e-mail a final copy via PDF.   Due to COVID-19 and social distancing, the Will is not executed in our office.  You need to obtain two (2) witnesses that are NOT named in your Will (independent).  You will sign each page of the Will and send Pinder Plotkin either (a) a scanned copy of the signed Will via e-mail, (b) a photocopy via mail to 7602 Harford Rd., Baltimore, MD 21234, or (c) a faxed copy to (410) 661-9322. (d) Pinder Plotkin will retain an electronic copy.  You will retain the original Will. The original Will can be stored in a home safe/lock box, bank safe deposit box or at your local Register of Wills (for your county of residence in Maryland).
  6. You can elect to delay the execution of your Will until such time as we can schedule a signing at Pinder Plotkin’s office.

The basic WILL does not include any tax advice. We recommend that you consult with an accountant or tax attorney.  Must be a Maryland Resident.  By submitting a contact-us or intake form, you are not retaining an attorney. No attorney-client relationship is formed until a case is accepted by our office and a fee agreement is signed. There is no obligation to retain our services or for us to provide any services to you by submitting any forms. You can fill it out online from your computer or smartphone. Please fill it out and submit it as soon as you get a chance.  Pinder Plotkin reserves the right to determine what constitutes a basic Will.
