The accident happened when the bike driver, identified as Christian Benitez-Chavez, sustained fatal injuries in the collision at about 4:45 p.m. at Forest Drive and Parole Street, off West Street near Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Annapolis.

The dirt bike was going northwest on Forest Drive when the vehicle operated by Aguilar turned onto the roadway from Parole Street going southeast, the police said. The dirt bike driver lost control and departed from the bike when he crashed with the vehicle. According to the police, the dirt bike driver’s speed might have been a factor in the crash in Annapolis.

The police are investigating the accident, and anyone with information about it is asked to call Sgt. O’Herlihy at 410-268-9000 or [email protected]

Speed is one of the biggest factors for accidents. Speeding or not, bikers are exposed to a high risk of accidents because they aren’t protected anyhow. When such an accident happens, the involved parties are advised to seek medical help as soon as possible and contact the police. Also, it’s important to call a car accident attorney who will review the case and help you continue with the legal matters.

Losing a loved one in such an accident is a tragedy, but having an attorney by your side could be very helpful. Not everyone knows how to deal with legal matters and in cases like this, the family members will be devastated and broken, so a third person who thinks clearly and knows their job will help them immensely to look for their compensation claim.
